ARK volunteers repaired the initial part of the staircase leading to Halidzor district
In May – June 2017 ARK local and international volunteers together with Kapan Municipality completed repairing the staircases leading to Halidzor fortress, one of the main sights of Kapan. This part of the trail was very dangerous and almost impassable. We built 70 stairs, fastened the barriers, concreted the landings. Special thanks to the mayor of Kapan Mr. A. Hayrapetyan for financial support and the Hakobian family who helped greatly in constructing.
